He is dressed in what appears to be a puffy-sleeved shirt or tunic. The man's body and hat are drawn in dark brown and black lines on a piece of off-white paper with a visible texture. There are darker smudges and discolorations on the paper, and two thin brown lines cross the paper horizontally. A flourish of a pen or brush with the words "Sancho Panza" is located at the bottom. More cursive writing appears to the left of the flourish but cannot be read.
