The candlestick by Giambologna features a wide, flat top with a thin metal spike in the center. The top section is supported by a narrow, cylindrical stem that widens into a decorative section with vertical red and brown stripes. Below this, a narrower section connects to a square base with curved, outward-facing sides. The base has a blue and gold design with a central motif and ornate gold scrollwork. It rests on a flat metal plate supported by three decorative feet.
