The embroidered square by unknown artist depicts a square piece of fabric with a golden-yellow background. The fabric features frayed edges. The design on the fabric consists of three horizontal sections with a floral and leaf pattern surrounding buildings. The top section features a floral border across the top with two bands of embroidery below it; the top band contains blue flowers and leaves while the bottom band contains buildings with trees. The middle section contains a large flower with eight smaller flowers and leaves surrounding it. The bottom section contains a repeating pattern of buildings with trees, similar to the bottom band on the top section. The entire fabric is outlined with a floral border. The colors used in the embroidery are blue, pink, green, brown, beige, and white.
