The top right quadrant has three stars. The bottom left quadrant has three crowns. The bottom right quadrant has stripes. The shield is adorned with decorative plants and leaves. A ribbon below the shield reads "VERTUS EST VERA VETUSTAS". A potted plant on fire sits above the shield. The text "Old age is a Virtue" is written in cursive above the shield. The words "OLD AGE" printed in brown ink, one on either side of the shield. The text "K. K. Van Rensselaer Esq." is written at the bottom.
