Velvet Fragment by unknown artist. The image shows a square piece of fabric with a floral pattern. The fabric is primarily white with a repeating pattern of flowers and leaves in shades of red, yellow, and green. The flowers have five petals and are clustered on stems with leaves. There are two vertical rows of brown curved shapes on either side of the fabric, with a lighter brown color on the outside and a darker brown on the inside. The background behind the fabric is white. The fabric appears to be old and worn, with some threads loose or missing. The edges of the fabric are rough and uneven. The overall design is symmetrical, with the same pattern repeated on either side of a central vertical line.
