The "Velvet Fragment" by an unknown artist is a beige velvet textile with a floral design. The main body of the textile features a cream-colored background with a large, intricate floral pattern in shades of green, dark purple, and light brown. The floral design includes large flowers and leaves, with some areas of the velvet pile worn down to reveal the underlying fabric. A border on either side of the textile features a repeating pattern of flowers and leaves in shades of green and purple. The edges of the textile are frayed and worn.
