The Amphoriskos (Small Amphora) by the Metropolitan Museum of Art is a glass vessel with a narrow body and rounded base. The body features horizontal ridges and a narrow neck with a flared mouth. It has two small loop handles on either side. The vessel is primarily shades of brown and pink with a slight sheen and some iridescence on the rim. The background is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
