Cleveland Museum of Art

Dark brown metal object with a rough texture, resembling iron or steel. The object is a sword guard, also known as a tsuba. It has a rounded shape with a small circular hole at the top. The tsuba features a design with cutouts in the shape of two geese in flight, positioned on either side of a large triangular cutout. Below the triangular cutout is a curved cutout resembling a crescent shape. The background of the image transitions from black at the top to gray at the bottom.
