Cleveland Museum of Art

A dark brown, flower-shaped metal object with a central oval hole and a smaller teardrop-shaped hole. The object has a scalloped edge with rounded lobes, resembling a flower. It features intricate etchings and patterns across its surface. Small gold dots are scattered throughout the design. A small, circular patch of lighter metal is on the right side. The background is dark gray, gradually lightening towards the bottom. This is a sword guard, or Tsuba, made by an unknown artist.
