Middle section shows The Pope Chiding the Emperor; the Pope stands with his right hand raised, wearing a mitre and holding a staff, while the Emperor sits on a throne with one knee raised. Right section depicts Henry VIII treading on the Pope's neck; Henry VIII sits on a throne, with one leg raised and his foot on the Pope's neck, who is on the ground. The three scenes are separated and framed by columns. The entire frieze has intricate designs and patterns throughout. The scenes are embroidered with a variety of colors including red, blue, green, beige, and gold. The clothing and hairstyles are from 16th century Europe.
