Cleveland Museum of Art

The Panel with Birds, Flowers, and Suns by Anni Albers features a long, narrow, beige textile with a repeating pattern. The textile has a flat top and bottom edges with the sides cut straight across. The top section has a row of geometric designs with small beige and black details on a beige background. Below this is a row of three identical sections featuring a triangular figure with rounded sides resembling a bird; each triangular figure faces outwards. Between the birds are diamond shapes made up of four small triangles; the upper and lower triangles point outwards and the left and right triangles point inwards. The lower section has a similar geometric design to the top. The entire piece has a lace-like appearance with a woven texture. The background of the image is black.
