Snuff Bottle

Reddish-brown snuff bottle with carved design. Bottle has a rounded body with a narrow neck and a small mouth. The body of the bottle is carved to resemble a gourd or a melon, with vertical ridges carved to look like the skin of the fruit. The left side of the bottle features an incised design of a leafy branch. The stopper is made of the same material as the bottle, reddish-brown, and roughly carved to resemble a stem with a leaf. The background is gradient, dark at the top and light at the bottom. The bottle casts a shadow on the surface it sits on. The title of the piece is "Snuff Bottle". The artist who created the piece is unknown.
