Bobbin Lace Insertion with Selvage

The rest of the lace consists of four identical, symmetrical sections arranged horizontally. Each section has four roughly oval or leaf-shaped open sections with rounded points facing the braid trim at top and bottom and with curved exteriors made from floral and vine-like designs. The floral and vine-like motifs are woven into an open web. A series of wavy lines cross horizontally through the center of each section and connect the open sections.
