White, handmade needlepoint design for bobbin lace insertion, rectangular shape, approximately horizontal orientation. The design consists of a long, thin, horizontal line of thread with symmetrical patterns hanging down from it. The pattern consists of a series of connected, teardrop-shaped motifs with a central stem and two curved sides, resembling a leaf. Each motif is composed of interwoven threads forming loops and twists. The motifs are evenly spaced and hang down from the horizontal line in a repeating pattern. The background of the image is solid black.
