The robe is golden-brown and falls in loose folds to his feet; it has a patterned section down the center and patterned panels on the sides. The man wears a necklace, and his hair is slicked back with a center part. He has on a pair of white socks or undergarments, with low, flat black shoes. The background is simple, with a ground line and some minimal ground detail at the bottom. There are several Japanese characters in black ink at the bottom right.
