The image depicts a scene from "Furuichi Dance at the Hisagataya" by Gakutei Harunobu. Two women wearing kimonos stand on a wooden floor. The kimonos are teal with white sleeves and have brown patterned obis. The women's hair is pulled back into buns and adorned with hairpins. The background features a white wall with a grid pattern on the left, a dark area in the center, and bare trees on the right. A railing separates the dark area from the floor where the women stand. The top and bottom of the image have a row of brown circular designs on a lighter background. The bottom row of circles is on a reddish-brown background. Japanese characters are written vertically on the left side of the image.
