Stew Bowl

Cleveland Museum of Art

Stew Bowl by Native Artist, a large earthenware bowl with a wide mouth and rounded body. The bowl's exterior features a red and tan color scheme with black accents. Red lines form crisscrossing diamond shapes around the bowl's body. Tan sections are interspersed between the red lines, and two black oval shapes resembling leaves are visible on the front. The interior of the bowl is a light brown color with some darker spots. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The bowl casts a shadow on the surface below it. The surface the bowl sits on appears to be a flat, light gray color.
