The Passion: The Last Supper by Lucas van Leyden depicts a group of men gathered around a table. The man in the center has long hair, a beard and a halo of light around his head. He sits at the center of a long side of a rectangular table, closest to the top of the image. The table is cluttered with plates, goblets and a roasted piece of meat. Nine men surround the table; one sits to the left with his back to the viewer, and one sits on the bottom right with one leg crossed over the other. The other seven men stand or sit around the table. All but one have beards or facial hair; one on the left appears younger with short hair. The men wear shirts with billowy sleeves and some have additional cloth over their shirts. The background behind the men is shaded darker at the top. The image is in black and white.
