Part of a Skirt (Ghaghara) by unknown artist. Rectangular piece of fabric with a blue top section and a long, vertically striped lower section. The blue section is 2 inches deep with 7 thin white lines running across the fabric parallel to one another. The lower section has 11 yellow stripes with floral embroidery. The floral embroidery on the yellow stripes consists of repeating patterns of pink and red flowers with green stems and leaves on a black background. The bottom of the fabric has a thicker band of floral embroidery. The floral embroidery on the bottom band consists of pink and red flowers with green stems and leaves on a yellow background. The fabric is set against a black background.
