

Ornamental Square
The Ornamental Square by artist Anni Albers, is a square textile with a red background and a green border. The textile is divided into nine sections by four vertical and horizontal cream-colored stripes. There are green and yellow diamond shapes in the top middle and bottom middle sections. There are green, yellow and red animal shapes in the four corner and middle sections. The border consists of a green outer stripe and a red inner stripe. The textile appears to be woven and the edges are frayed. The background of the image is gray.
