Necklace

Cleveland Museum of Art

Necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane. A gold-colored necklace with a central focal point consisting of a large, intricately designed cylindrical component. Two graduated clusters of gold-colored metal pieces extend on either side of the center, featuring a variety of shapes such as disks, cylinders, and spheres. These pieces decrease in size as they move towards the ends. The necklace has a cord made of brown material, possibly leather or fabric, strung with approximately 19 red spherical beads, each with a textured surface and a metallic sheen, spaced evenly throughout. The background is gray, transitioning from dark at the top to light at the bottom.
