Shawabty of Ranefer
The Shawabty of Ranefer depicts an ancient stone statue of a person with long, straight hair parted in the middle and hanging down to the shoulders. The figure has a serene expression with closed eyes and a small mouth. It wears a short-sleeved garment with folds indicated on the chest. The arms are crossed, with the left hand on top of the right, and each hand holds a small object. The lower part of the body features several lines of hieroglyphic inscriptions. The statue appears to be made of a dark brown stone, possibly greywacke or a similar material, and has a weathered appearance with visible cracks and discoloration.
