Syllabub Glass

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Syllabub Glass, crafted by an unknown artist, is a transparent glass vessel with a wide mouth and a flared rim. The glass has small bubbles throughout and a short stem with a wide base. Two handles are attached on either side, each featuring a decorative curl where they meet the body of the glass. The handles themselves are looped and smooth. The glass appears to be sitting on a light gray surface, with a lighter gray background.
