Black and white etching of a boat on water with a distant shoreline. The boat is on the right side of the image and has a single mast. There are several thin poles of different lengths standing in the water around the boat. Superimposed over the etching are many straight and intersecting black lines. They run diagonally in four directions. The lines do not run along the top or bottom edges of the rectangular image but are inset. On the left side towards the bottom corner is very small illegible text. The background of the image is off-white with a slightly textured surface.
