The image depicts a tobacco pipe by artist Pietr van Dievoet. The pipe is lying on a surface, angled diagonally from the bottom left to the top right. The pipe has a brass bowl on the left end and a short red-brown wooden stem. The brass stem is in two parts; the top one with a slightly tapered end and the lower one attached to the wooden stem. There are two brass rings separating the wooden stem from the brass parts. The background is a dark gradient transitioning from black at the top to grey at the bottom. The surface on which the pipe rests is gray.
