Velvet Fragment by artist. Dark purple velvet fabric with light purple designs. The fabric is rectangular with a rough, frayed edge on the left and right sides. The design features a repeating pattern of light purple lines that form interconnected shapes. The shapes are symmetrical and resemble flowers or leaves. There are four large, symmetrical light purple motifs, one at the top center, one at the bottom center, and one on each side, below the center motif and slightly offset. The background of the fabric is a deep, rich purple color. The fabric appears to be old and worn, with some areas of discoloration and fraying. The fabric is set against a light gray background.
