Black text below reads, "A favorite SCOTCH SONG Written by ROBERT BURNS, in 1793, to an old air composed by JOHN BRUCE, A FAMOUS FIDDLER OF DUMFRIES." The bottom lists the publisher and others, "Published by OLIVER DITSON."
