Tea Bowl: Jian ware
The Tea Bowl: Jian ware, is a brown ceramic bowl with a wide mouth and a narrow base. The bowl has a glossy finish with a darker brown color at the top that fades into a lighter brown towards the bottom. There are black streaks running vertically across the lower portion of the bowl. Two small handles are attached on either side. The background is dark gray to black, with the bowl casting a shadow on the surface below it.
