Man Carrying a Basket of Fish
The sculpture depicts a man carrying a basket of fish. The man has a bald head with a small tuft of hair on top and is wearing a short robe. He is barefoot and has his legs slightly apart, with his weight shifted onto his right leg. The man is holding a large basket filled with fish in front of him with both hands. The basket appears to be made of woven material and has a handle. There are several fish in the basket, one of which is sticking out of the top. The sculpture is made of a light-colored material, possibly ivory or bone, and is set against a dark background that gradually lightens towards the bottom. The surface on which the sculpture is standing appears to be gray.
