Fragmentary roundel with eagle in gold ground. The image shows a fragment of a circular design with an eagle on it. The eagle is centered, facing right. The eagle has a light-colored head, neck, and body. The body is covered in multicolored, scale-like patterns. The eagle's beak is light-colored. The eagle's wings are spread out and curved around the edge of the circle. The wings are brown with hints of blue and red. The background of the circle is gold. The circle has a decorative border around the edge. The border consists of a series of connected shapes in blue, red, and gold. The fragment appears to be made of fabric. The fabric is tan with a visible weave pattern. There are several tears and frays in the fabric around the edge of the circle. The image is rectangular and the fragment fills most of the center.
