Book of Hours (Use of Rouen): fol. 47v

The image features an illuminated manuscript page with a vertical border on the left. The border is filled with blue curvilinear vines that extend from the top and bottom edges. The vines are adorned with red and green leaves and flowers. Gold embellishments are present throughout the design. The border runs along the left third of the page. The majority of the page features black handwritten text arranged in columns. A few select letters are highlighted in red. Initial letters are enlarged and intricately designed in gold, blue, and red hues. A small brown spot is visible on the lower portion of the parchment. The parchment background has a yellowed appearance with darker spots.
