Length of Brocaded Silk by unknown artist. The image shows a rectangular piece of fabric with a plaid background. The plaid pattern consists of thin, evenly spaced, dark orange and light orange stripes. Superimposed on the plaid background are repeating designs. There are two distinct designs. One design is a floral pattern featuring pink roses, blue flowers, and green leaves. The other design is a brown, curvilinear, damask-like pattern. The floral and damask-like designs alternate vertically in a repeating pattern across the fabric. The fabric has an orange border around it.
