The ceramic vase, titled "Vase with Cover", created by an unspecified artist, is predominantly white with blue designs and features a wide base that tapers upward. A blue and white patterned band encircles the bottom. The base of the vase displays a blue circle within which lies a piece of masking tape holding a small red-bordered label. The rim of the base shows signs of wear with a brown discoloration. The vase's body showcases various blue motifs, including geometric patterns, foliage and figurative scenes in white and blue. A red handwritten notation "CMA 54.576" appears on the base.
