The Covered Milk Jug, by artist Thomas F. McGann, is a white ceramic jug with a handle on the side and a lid on top. The jug has a narrow neck that widens into a bulbous body. The lid is white with gold trim around the edge and a small gold knob on top. The jug features a coat of arms on the front with a shield, a bird on top, and foliage and text around it. There are gold accents along the top edge of the lid and on the handle. The background of the image is dark gray, with a light gray surface that the jug is sitting on.
