Pair of Roundback Armchairs: Lohan Type

Cleveland Museum of Art

Two wooden chairs with curved backrests and armrests, made of light-colored wood, possibly mahogany or oak, with a smooth finish. The chairs have a simple, minimalist design with straight legs and a flat seat. The backrests are curved at the top and have a vertical slat in the center. The armrests are curved and connected to the backrest. The seats appear to be made of woven material, possibly rattan or wicker. The chairs are identical in design and are positioned side by side, facing forward, against a plain gray background. They are referred to as a "Pair of Roundback Armchairs: Lohan Type".
