Teapot (lid)

The object shown here is a lid to a teapot. The lid is round with a white base color. The lid has a blue patterned border around its edge. The border pattern is a diamond lattice design. Inside the border is a narrower ring with a dotted line pattern. The center of the lid inside the ring is white. There are three small ceramic tabs on the white center. The tabs are blue and shaped like leaves or petals. They support a spherical finial at the top. The finial is gold colored with blue spots. The background behind the lid fades from black at the top to gray at the bottom.
