The drawing depicts a nude man with both arms raised. The drawing is on aged, yellowed paper with dark spots and discoloration. The nude figure's body faces right; only his right side and back are fully visible. The man has short hair and his right arm is bent at the elbow with the hand raised to about shoulder height. His left arm and hand are mostly drawn with minimal detail and both are raised higher. The figure's facial features are minimal; a nose and mouth are indicated but little else. The entire figure and face are drawn with simple lines and minimal shading. The background shows only the yellowed paper. The artist's signature, "Egon Schiele 1911," appears on the lower left.
