Master of the Boqueteaux

Cleveland Museum of Art

The image shows an open book with two pages. The book appears to be very old. The pages are yellowed and have a worn, aged look. There are black borders around the edges of the pages with vines and leaves. The left page has a large illustration of an angel. The angel has white robes and a blue and white headdress. He has a blue cape. He holds a staff in one hand and a small round object in the other. A decorative border with vines and leaves surrounds the angel. The pages are filled with text written in Latin. The text is written in black ink and has red and blue decorations throughout. There are large decorative letters throughout the text.
