The top of the sheath features curled designs on either side of a point with curved tendrils extending upwards. The designs resemble leaves and scrollwork. The top section is shaded with dark texture resembling fabric. The sheath middle has a protruding decorative band. The bottom section depicts a nude woman figure visible from waist to knees surrounded by curled designs resembling leaves and scrollwork. The background appears to be parchment-like, with an off-white color and darker discoloration. The illustration includes small illegible cursive writing on the bottom right.
