Master of the Brussels Initials and Associates

The image shows an open book with yellowed pages and black text. A border on the left and bottom of the right page shows a blue vine with red, blue, and gold leaves and small pennants on the vine. A blue donkey with a long tail and large ears stands on the left. It wears a red blanket. A green donkey on the bottom right wears a red saddle. Both donkeys look up at birds; the blue donkey faces right and the green donkey faces left. The border is filled with dozens of small birds flying and perched. The right page has a large body of black text with some red text. There are two blue, pink and red illuminations. The left page is blank except for writing in the upper left. The book lies open on a black background.
