Master of the Brussels Initials and Associates

Open book with yellowed pages. Black text written in a language that looks like Latin fills most of the left side. A large decorative border on the right side has a vertical line down the center, and horizontal lines branching off to the top and bottom. Border is decorated with blue, red, and gold vines, leaves, birds, butterflies. Two men illustrated. The man on the right wears a red hat, green tunic, white undergarment, and pink shoes. He works at a wooden table. The man on the left wears a blue tunic with a brown hat and red boots. He bends over a cauldron with red flames around it. Small, colorful pots hang from the vines.
