Portable icon of Shakyamuni Buddha in the Earth-touching gesture. Green-colored metal sculpture. The Buddha is positioned sitting cross-legged at the top center of the sculpture, hands in the lap, wearing simple robes. The Buddha sits within an arched frame decorated with beads and geometric patterns, which is flanked by decorative leaf-like elements. The top of the sculpture features a pointed element resembling a leaf and has symmetrical curving patterns on either side. Below the Buddha, there are three figures on a tree, with one central figure looking up and two outer figures playing musical instruments. The bottom of the sculpture features an intricate base with geometric and swirling patterns. The background of the image is shaded from dark at the top to light at the bottom.
