The Ewer by William Ramsay features an off-white ceramic body with a glossy light-brown glaze. The jug has a short spout on the left and a handle on the right. A large circular relief on the front depicts a floral design with a darker brown glaze. The base of the jug has a lighter brown color where the glaze has worn off. The background of the image transitions from black at the top to gray at the bottom.
