The Piping Maenad by Marcantonio Franco. A partially damaged embroidered image on light-colored fabric. The figure of a woman with dark hair and a white dress with blue outlines, playing a panpipe. She stands on a rectangular pattern of green, orange, blue and white. Behind her are patches of similar colors in no discernable pattern. The image is damaged in several places leaving large areas of the fabric visible.
