Charles I coin with a gold color. The obverse side shows a man's profile facing left with a crown on his head, and a ruffled collar; a double "C" and "R" are visible behind his head. The legend around the edge is mostly illegible. The reverse side features a crowned shield divided into four parts with different designs; a decorative scroll surrounds the shield; along the outer perimeter is a bead-and-reel design; the legend around the edge is also mostly illegible.
