Miniature Album with Figures and Landscape (Three Men)

Zeng Yandong

Cleveland Museum of Art

Miniature album with a landscape and three men. The men are wearing white robes and black hats. Two are holding musical instruments. The one on the left has a long necked lute and the one on the right has an instrument with a long neck and four strings with a round body. The background appears to have some landscape elements but they are not clearly defined. The artwork is done on two joined pages of an off-white material with visible wear and tear. There are red stamps on the bottom left and middle right of the pages. There are also some black characters on the right side of the right page.
