Jesus is naked with a loincloth and his arms outstretched. Two holes are at the top of the plaque, one on either side of the cross. Below Jesus, a crowd of people surrounds the base of the cross. Some figures are dressed as Roman soldiers with helmets and shields. The soldiers have spears and swords. Other figures appear to be mourning or grieving. Some have their hands clasped in prayer. The plaque has a dark brown patina. The background is gray and white.
