Horizontal Chinese scroll painting on beige paper with darker edges. The scroll contains black and red calligraphy in two large blocks on the left and center right. The left block of calligraphy consists of 19 lines of text. The right block consists of 11 lines. Both blocks contain red seals. There are two landscape paintings on the scroll: The left painting depicts blossoming tree branches with a white or light-colored background. The right painting depicts trees with a figure standing among them. The trees are mostly bare-branched with a few clusters of leaves. The figure wears a hat with a long, dark robe and holds an object. The background of the painting shows mountains with a few structures. Red seals are present throughout both paintings. The scroll has an even darker border on the right edge.
