Long, narrow, vertically oriented piece of fabric. The top is unevenly torn. The main body is a red background with a border on both long sides. The border is comprised of a black outline with pearlescent beads depicted around a repeating beige bead pattern. A figure scene exists in a beige ovoid in the center of each short side of the fabric. The short sides are uneven. A long thin extension leads to an oval terminus. A similar border exists around the oval terminus. A figure scene exists within the oval terminus. The colors are muted, with some gold visible. The title is "Fragment of a Clavus". The artist is unknown.
