The vessel is an oinochoe, a wine jug. It has a handle on the right side and a spout. The body is shaped like a large bulbous vase with a narrow neck. The base is circular and flat. The jug is primarily orange-brown with black designs. The designs on the jug include two registers of figures. In the top register, a nude male figure, possibly Hercle or Herakles, runs to the right toward a figure labeled Pholos. The bottom register appears to depict three cattle. The cattle are likely those of Geryon. The background of the image is dark gray. A white border is on the right side.
